Yoga and a movie

After work yesterday I finally made it to another Yoga Wednesday. I have been slacking and have not made it for the past month.... It was great! Then afterwords Melissa, her cousin Whitney, and I went to the movie: Love and other drugs. It was a really cute show! And I am very proud I did not fall asleep (Fully) durring the show with how late and tired I was by then. I only closed my eyes a few small moments.....

Weekend fun

This past weekend was pretty fun. Although not as busy as this weekend is gonna be.... (if everything goes as planned)

Friday night Melissa, Skyler and I went to go see Unstoppable. Then on Saturday afternoon I went over to my parents and helped out with decorating the tree and some outside decorating. We had pizza for dinner and my parents and I had a few games of Yahtzee.

My cousin Mike called and let me know he was bringing a friend up to meet another friend and wanted to know what I was up too. So once I left my parents I had Mike meet me at home and I went with him to dinner. Then picked up Melissa to go on a liquor store run before they closed and then picked up Mikes buddy Kyle and his new friend and pretty much kidnapped them for the night. I talked Mike into staying the night since he was running on hardly any sleep. Skyler joined not to long after we got home and we all hung out the rest of the night.

Sunday once I was able to finally get out of bed not feeling the best I headed back over to my parents to hang out for dinner, watch movies, and play some more Yahtzee. (Yahtzee was a game my mom and I used to play when I was little with her friend Carma while they did my hair, so it has become mine and her game together)

Somewhere in the next few days I finally finished our christmas tree...

Registered

As of yesterday I am now registered to start school again come January 10th at SLCC. I am taking Business 1050 for Foundations of Business and Economics 2010 for Microeconomics. I also have changed my degree from an AAS in Business Management to an AAS in Marketing Management. I think I will enjoy these classes much better then the others. Although I still have to take the dreaded Accounting class.... I will leave it for last this time.

Abandoned

Look at that handsome boy that I love so much!! Looks so cute and cuddly and loving. He protects me when Im sick and usually loves me. At least that is what you think :( Then he decides something or some one else comes along better and abandons you while your asleep. I feel betrayed!! ;) I still luv him.

So now that I have done my Thankful spill (It was not supposed to be that long, I seem to be in a mood where I keep getting distracted and going off on random stuff) My Thanksgiving weekend was way fun. I ended up carpooling with my parents and brothers first to save me gas money and second because of the icy roads. We went up wednesday afternoon, went to dinner at Savannah's (Used to be the Golden Spur that I believe my Brother Jake at one point helped run?) with my grandparents when we got there. SOOOOO COLD!! Went to cold weather to negative weather. Im pretty sure at one point it was -20. I helped make the crossiant dough that night with my mom. Thursday while waiting for the big brunch we decided to head outside and ride fourwheelers with the weather being 1 degree. Lets just say I wish I had a face mask and we were not outside very long. BRRR we Froze. We hung out at my uncle eric's where we ate the big dinner. Then on Friday I went outside with my cousins Lizzy, Andrew, Zach, Morgan, and my Brothers and we rode on the four wheelers some more. Lizzy made herself a snow bed and snow angel. Some time durring the fourwheeling before the snow ball fight (on the fourwheelers) Boe lost his white Bingham hat in the White snow. It took forever to find it!! I had to give up and go inside to warm up for a bit. They finally found it though. Then a littler later we all went over to my uncle shawns and played with the big fourwheeler with the tracks and three wheeler pulling sleds behind. Sometime durring this I was smart and lost my bracelet :( Will most likely find it later when the snow melts all rusted. That night we went to see Harry Potter in a very cold but cute small town Theatre with a stage. ;)

I had a blast Thanksgiving break but I also got the joys of an Absessed tooth that hurt like nothing else by the end of the weekend. Luckily it waited until saturday to hurt really bad and sunday to get worse. I am sad I bailed on my Logan trip to hang out with my cousin Mike but I am glad I did. I would have been no fun and would not have been able to drive very well. I ended up having my tooth pulled on Monday when the dentists re-opened and now feel Much Much Much better.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I want to first say how Thankful and blessed I am to have such a crazy and awesome family. We have our ups and downs on getting along and our issues but my family means the world to me. They have always been there through I told you so's and even the unspoken I told you so's of recent. They were there durring the hard times and still are when I need them. If I need to cheer up they are great at helping. Any time I need help I can count on them. I dont always agree and we have had our issues but I love them still the same. This is for both my immediate family and my extended. I have great older cousins who I can talk to and bug about anything. My aunts and uncles always offer their assistance as well. I also feel very blessed to be able to build my relationship back with my sister Kori and talk to her from time to time and the last couple times we were able to go visit. I get to talk to my brother Duke again after a few years of trying to locate where he went. Im sad that I can not visit on happier terms but being able to still have the communication means alot. I am also more in touch with my Helm family. I have always missed being apart of them and proud to be considered a Helm. Always have and always will. Not knowing them and my dad growing up was hard for me. With my grandma, my brother duke and my aunt brenda we got to hear things every now and then and felt involved a little. I want to work on getting to know them better. Now just need to not be so shy. ;)

I also want to say how Thankful I am to have my friends. Especially Melissa. Melissa is like another sister and has been there through everything anytime I need to talk. I can talk to her about anything and know that Ill get an honest answer in return. I may not always like the response but I know its honest and sometimes thats what you need the most. Through work and outside of work Melissa is great. I am also thankful she puts up living with me ;) I enjoy and thankful for all of my friends. They are there when you need it and I enjoy our hang outs. I love how you can have a friend and even if you get busy in life and lose touch they are still there if you need them. Even years later just to say hi again.

With out my friends and family I dont know what I would do. These are the best things apart of my life that I could be Thankful for. Yes I am thankful for other things like having a great place to work, food, car, My dog (I love my dog) but Family and friends the most.

New Car

I finally got approved and finalized for my new car! I purchased my friend Mike's 2005 Toyotta Corolla XRS. I think its a way cute car and I love it! Much better then that big Ford Mustang I had, and now I dont have to worry about a crappy soft top being cut and its waaay better on gas. Much cheaper too. The best part I am finally driving a licensed car again as well. I think I pushed my luck for 3/4 months not getting pulled over.... sigh.

The only downside was that the car is a manual. Its been at least three years since I last drove a manual and I still wasnt good at it then. But thanks to Mike re-teaching me and Skylers input I think Im doing much better :) No more stalling or grinding
